The reason for the change from the bound catalogues is to allow for easier and quicker updates. All future Sparex tractor parts reference catalogues will now be issued in this way. The layout of the catalogues will follow the same breakdown of parts as the old catalogues, i.e. Steering will be Section 2, Transmission Section 5 and so on. In most cases the picture will be in exploded view to allow for easier parts reference. Future updates for this catalogue will be supplied in the following way: New Product Leaflets. These will still be issued to cover new parts introduced across the range of sections within the catalogue. These will fit into a section at the back of the new loose leaf catalogue under the category of New Product Information; Section Updates. These may range from just a single page to a complete section, depending on the amount of information to be released. The regular release of this information should keep you up to date with the latest products available from Sparex. The index will be in both OE part number to Sparex part number and Sparex part number to OE part number. The index can be found at the rear of the catalogue. Whilst every effort is made to ensure that the information compiled in this catalogue is correct, Sparex request that customers verify that the correct part has been purchased before fitting to the tractor. Normally a visual check against the part removed is all that is necessary. The need to carry out these checks is because of the on-going upgrades and modifications which are carried out by the OE tractor manufacturer. If the component is a gear or a shaft, then check the number of teeth or splines. If a clutch assembly, check the dimensions and whether the clutch is a dual or split torque. These simple and quick checks may save many hours of frustration and cost. Publication No. S.70303
