Malpas Tractors (Wrexham) Ltd was incorporated in September 88. The company directors are Mr. Edward Reeves and Mrs. Rachael Reeves, Rachael was the Managing Director and Dealer Principal , until her son Paul Reeves took over the running of the family business in 2006.
The company is a supplier of all the agricultural & horticultural needs of the North West of the U/K & North Wales with main line suppliers of New Holland tractors & harvesters: Kuhn Farm Machinery mowers, feeders & cultivation equipment:Hi-Spec feeder wagons, slurry tankers, slurry pumps & industrial tankers:Port agric grass mowes & toppers: Simba Cultivation:Grouncare machinery for professional & leisure industry, Westwood: Lloyds & Co: Snapper: Kab Seating: AS Trailers & many more.
Although the company was incorporated in 1988, it?s history dates back to 1983, when the directors started to repair and service their own farm and contracting machinery. The experienced Richard Bourne supplied the service knowledge and by 1987 the workshop had grown in importance as they were also servicing their neighbours machinery. At this time the Directors were approached by Ford Tractors, now CNH to set up a new dealership in the Wrexham area.
This finally came to fruition during 1988, when they relocated the business from their farm to rented premises at Croes-y-mab, Marchwiel, where we were based until 1993.
After 5 years at Marchwiel, it was decided to expand to the current site on Wrexham Industrial Estate.
During this period Malpas Tractors have received a number of national accolades from New Holland and include Mark of Excellence awards in 1989 & 1998 and culminating in receiving the overall award winner for 1998 & 2002. The award is given annually by New Holland to its dealers in order to reward outstanding service and customer satisfaction in all areas.
After the closing of New Holland dealers in Cheshire & Lancashire we were offered the opportunity to expand into these areas, during 2002 we opened a new depot & Holmes Chapel in Cheshire, this depot allows us to cover Cheshire and South Lancashire.
