              About Landini Tractors

              With over 130 years of tractor manufacturing, the Fabbrico based Landini tractor company have been producing farm machinery since 1884 with their first tractor being built in 1925 mainly designed for use around vineyards and farms. Their primitive diesel engine tractors were initially very widespread throughout Italy but lost their popularity after the Second World War.

              In 1959 after the first Landini crawler tractor, the C35, the company was acquired by Massey Ferguson who continued to produce tractors under the Landini brand, in particular the 2 and 4 wheel 500 series tractors. Landini continued to develop their range including specialist orchard models. In 1994 the AGCO take over the majority share of Landini.
