              Universal Tractors (UTB)

              Universal Parts

              Beginning in 1946 Universal Traktoren Brasov or (UTB) was based in Brasov, Romania in a factory that was used to manufacture airplanes during WWII. The tractors and engines were built under license from Fiat. Universal suffered an economic crisis in the early 2000’s with failed purchasing deals from ARGO, Mahindra and Sonalika. The company eventually folded and the factory was brought by an investment company to develop the land for other commercial adventures in 2007.
